A few weeks ago when Tom spent the day with us we made cupcakes since then Andrew has wanted to do it again so this afternoon we made some cupcakes.
First we mixed the batter. Andrew thought we need a whole egg, shell and all. I think we got most of the shell out. Andrew also helped to measure and sift the flour and add the milk.
After they had cooked we left them to cool while the kids went in the paddling pool. Then we made some yellow and blue icing. In these photos Andrew is helping mummy to ice the cup cakes. I managed to stop him eating the icing.

After these photos were taken we mix the yellow and the blue to make green icing. When Andrew was looking at the photos he was rather concerned the green ones had disappeared so he went back to the kitchen to check. They are still there. Any one who is good and eats all their main course at dinner can have one for dessert. Rachel will have one without icing.
